Faded, Jaded Mandarin

I see that Farrago has been toiling through the night in order to post the latest installment of The Oneiromantic Mosaic of Harry Potempkin by Mark Teppo. The above illustration by me is included.
Now that there are two chapters posted, this story and intent is starting to take shape. And I don’t mean that literally. I stumbled over there to catch up on some branches I hadn’t climbed yet and found myself immersed and too interested to leave. And on each page it was the same, one more step to take, all the time feeling like you want to get back to the first page you left, the trunk of the story, but too tempted to click one more word. Teppo has, through simple means, built a really engaging story. He’s smart to keep the branching narratives (or “nodes” as he calls them) short and sweet. And Farrago himself (and his co-conspirator) have built a pretty intuitive way to navigate it. I’m awful proud to be a small part of this project.
